Drought Conditions

As of September 8, 2022, the SJWTX implemented Stage 2 Watering Restrictions for all customers in Comal and Blanco counties. Under this schedule, irrigation can occur once every other week on a customer’s assigned day.

Watering days are assigned based on the last digit of the customer’s address. The plan proposes watering grass and landscaping with a sprinkler or irrigation system is allowed one day every other week, between 7 am-10 am or 7 pm-10 pm, based on the last digit of your street address.

As weather conditions are forecasted to be drier than average through the summer months, we expect to move into progressive stages early this summer.
